OUR TEAM

Martin Bamford – Company Director of Platinum Pacific Group, has over 35 years’ experience in the building industry, with 20 years of that in project management and 18 years in specialist reclad work.
He is a Trade qualified Carpenter having completed his apprenticeship, Trade Certificate and Advanced Certificate. Marty has worked on remediation of Heritage Buildings in Christchurch and high-rise commercial works and has Project Managed subdivision developments as well as complex residential recladding projects.

In founding the company, Marty’s mission and vision was, and still is, “Excellence Without Compromise”. This vision has grown the company to where we are today, continuing to grow with many satisfied customers.

Richard has been in the building industry for 34 years , 12 of those with Platinum Pacific Group.
He is a Trade qualified Carpenter, having completed his apprenticeship and Trade Certificate and has Site Management experience on large Reclad projects, new builds and renovations. Richard is well versed in the overall running of a project including organising and overseeing subtrades, liaising with Council and the completion of relevant documents for both contract and consent requirements. He has also completed masonry villas and multiple solid wood homes as well as high value alterations work.

Piha has been our Site Manager on Reclad projects for residential to apartment buildings and schools for over twelve years. He is a Trade qualified Carpenter with both commercial and residential experience. Piha also has extensive experience with New builds – single and multi unit sites. He has extensive experience in the overall running of projects, including organising and overseeing subtrades, liaising with Council and the completion of relevant documents for both contract and consent requirements.

Paul has been with us since the company started up in 2001. He has been in the building industry for 30 years, having started at a joinery company upon leaving school. He is well experienced in running reclad projects, new builds and renovations/alterations, both light commercial and residential.

Theresa van der Westhuizen and Nicki Tongs are our back of house support team.

Theresa is PA to the Director and assists the site staff with project related admin and organisation. She handles progress claims and invoicing and deals with clients, subcontractors and Council.

Nicki is our “Accounts Guru” and she keeps tight control of all our finances and accounts related administration.
